SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it is alarmed regarding the substantial amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support level developed for intervention experiences a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.
